SAN FRANCISCO -- The Dons (4-10-0, 2-1-0) travel to the Pacific Northwest for a pair of WCC contests when they take on Gonzaga at 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, followed by a 1 p.m. kickoff at Portland on Sunday, Nov. 1. Looking ahead, the Dons will begin winding down their regular season schedule with a road match at San Diego (Nov. 6) before returning home for the regular season finale against Loyola Marymount (Nov. 14).
LAST TIME OUT: The Dons split their last two games - a 3-0 home win over Pacific (Oct. 16) and a 1-0 overtime loss at home to Saint Mary's (Oct. 18). Aaron Lombardi led the Dons against Pacific with a goal in the 71st minute and an assist on David Garrett's score in the 51st minute. Jonathan Fabulich added an insurance goal for the Dons in the 83rd minute. Against SMC, the Dons were downed by a goal off a free kick in the 98th minute. Both teams matched each other with nine shots, but Will Kendall's header proved to be the difference in USF's first WCC loss of the year.
SNAPSHOT: GONZAGA (6-7-1, 1-2-0)
The Zags are coming off back-to-back losses on the road to LMU (1-0) and San Diego (3-1)… their only conference win so far was a 2-1 overtime victory over Portland (Oct. 11)… opponents hold a 14-13 edge in goals over the Zags this season… GU is outshooting opponents 189-127… Jakob Granlund and Ben White lead the team with three goals apiece… Chris Lowrimore leads the WCC in goals against average (0.97).

The Pilots are coming off a 0-0 tie against No. 7 Denver on Oct. 24 at home… their last win came at home to Oregon State, 1-0, on Sept. 17… Hugo Rhoads and Eddie Sanchez are tied for the team lead with three goals apiece… Portland is being outscored 27-14 this season… also being outshot 224-168… they lead the WCC in average home attendance (1,773).
