Sand volleyball teams from San Jose State and Saint Mary's will join the host Dons at the USF Invitational, to be contested Wednesday at Piper Park in Larkspur.

The Dons and Spartans will get the day started at 9:30 a.m. San Jose State will return to action to face Saint Mary's at 12:30 p.m. followed by the match between USF and Saint Mary's at 3:30 p.m.

All matches will be streamed live on TheW.tv with Pat Olson calling the action from courtside.

"We are looking forward to the opportunity of hosting two competitive teams in Saint Mary's and San Jose State," said USF co-head coach Eyal Zimet. "These are our last two home matches at Piper Park and we hope to build some momentum heading to the Santa Cruz Invitational later this month."

USF evened its record at 2-2 with a 3-2, come-from-behind victory over California last Friday at Piper Park. The teams of Anja Segota and Inbar Vinarsky, Jessica Gaffney and Sara Staengle and Valentina Zaloznik and Courtney Sabahi posted wins for the Dons.

Saint Mary's was ranked in preseason polls released by the AVCA (8th) and DIG Magazine (7th) and is currently ranked 13th by DIG. The Gaels, 1-2, opened their season with a win over San Jose State at the NorCal Invitational held at Stanford, but suffered back-to-back losses to Pacific and San Clara to close the tournament.

In its only meeting against Saint Mary's last season, the Dons fell to the Gaels, 3-2 at Piper Park on April 2. USF also dropped two matches to Saint Mary's in the 2013 campaign.

San Jose State is 0-7 on the season, including a 4-1 setback at the hands of USF on March 7 in the NorCal Invitational.

Following a pair of matches at the USF Invitational on Wednesday, the Dons will return to action at the Santa Cruz Invitational, March 28-29.
