The USF men's soccer team looks to extend its modest two game winning streak with their first road trip to Florida since the 2003 season as the Dons matchup with Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday at 4 p.m. (PDT), followed by a 10 a.m. (PDT) contest at South Florida on Saturday.

USF (2-1-0) defeated both Big West opponents on its slate this past week, defeating CSU Bakersfield 2-1 on the road on Thursday before topping UC Davis 2-1 on Sunday evening in the Dons' home opener.

The Dons' most recent trip to Florida came when USF played in a tournament hosted by Florida International in 2003.

Florida Gulf Coast (1-2-1) split matchups at Loyola Marymount and UC Irvine this past week. FGCU lost to LMU 2-1 on Friday before posting a 2-1 win over UC Irvine on Sunday. Albert Ruiz has paced the Eagles' offense so far, netting three goals with a pair of assists. The Eagles have featured two goalkeepers so far in Sawyer Jackman and Jared Brown, each of whom have two games between the pipes this year. FGCU was receiving votes in the NSCAA preseason top-25, but hasn't been ranked during the regular season.

South Florida (0-2-2) dropped back-to-back 4-1 decisions at Virginia Tech and Maryland this past week. South Florida was ranked No. 19 in the NSCAA preseason top-25 and has been receiving votes in each poll since. Luis Garza (2 goals) and Michael Bajza (1 goal) have accounted for the Bulls' offense so so far. USF will host Jacksonville on Thursday evening prior to playing the Dons on Saturday.

Thursday's action at Florida Gulf Coast will be streamed live via Eversport.tv. The Saturday contest at South Florida will feature live stats, but no video access. Links to video and live stats are available on the USF men's soccer schedule page.

Looking ahead, the Dons will return home on Sept. 16 to host Cal State Fullerton followed by a matchup with Air Force on Sept. 18.
