SAN FRANCISCO — The University of San Francisco's men's soccer team swept the weekend with impressive wins against No. 7 Portland and Gonzaga. This week, the Dons not only looks to continue its winning streak, but will be celebrating Senior Day before taking on Santa Clara at Negoesco Stadium on Saturday.

The Dons (5-9-1, 3-2 WCC) had an incredible weekend after defeating nationally ranked Portland in a 2-1 upset and blanked Gonzaga, 2-0. It all started when
Cameron Martin scored an early goal in the first half to spark the Dons lead, 1-0, as
Santiago Digiuseppe scored USF's final goal from a penalty kick. Portland trailed San Francisco scoring its first and only goal at the 74th minute, but
Ruben Stuiver handled the pressure and caught five crucial shots to seal the Dons victory. Sunday afternoon's matchup against the Bulldogs was a sweep.
Sean Bowman came off the bench and instantly took up the ball from midfield on his own and launched it from 23-yards out into the backend of the net to lead the Dons, 2-0. Shortly after the second goal,
Sandro Bradara was called up for a penalty kick and executed the shot to finalize the draw, 2-0.

-The Broncos 5-9-1, 1-4 WCC record is seventh in conference.
-Santa Clara's only win in conference was against Gonzaga (3-1) as the Broncos fell to LMU (2-1), Pacific in second overtime (3-2) and Saint Marys' in overtime (2-1).
-Sophomore Javier Ruiz Duran leads the Broncos with five goals. Junior Miles Robinson and senior Andres Jimenez record four goals.
-Both, USF and Santa Clara last met in the 2017 season with the Broncos winning 3-1 to open up the WCC season.
-The Broncos hold a 2-6-1 record on the road.
