SAN FRANCISCO — The University of San Francisco men's soccer team will travel to Los Angeles on Sunday to take on No. 8 UCLA under the lights in its first road match of the 2018.
Last season, the Dons fell to the Bruins, 5-3, at Negoesco Stadium as Leon Schwarzer scored back-to-back goals at the 54th minute cutting their deficit in half. But the Bruins iced the victory with a goal off a loose ball from the Dons goalkeeper at the 67th minute.
ABOUT THE DONS
The last time the Dons started its season without a loss was four years ago when they took down California and Wisconsin. The Dons opened 2018 topping CSUN 3-2 and tying the match against San Diego State 1-1 for a 1-0-1 overall record. Santiago DiGiuseppe leads the Dons with two goals. Sean Bowman and Cameron Martin both have one apiece.
ABOUT THE BRUINS
UCLA has started the season with an 2-0 overall record cruising past Coastal Carolina and West Coast Conference foe San Diego earlier this week. The Bruins' freshman Matt Hundley leads the team with two goals and one assist.

San Francisco will take on three-time defending national champion and No. 10 Stanford at 7 p.m. at Negoesco Stadium.
