SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — Senior
Margarita Treyes, a member of the University of San Francisco's women's tennis team, clinched the match for the fourth time this season, with a solid victory over Nevada, 4-3, on Friday afternoon at the Olympic Club.
The Dons made a strong comeback with the final four pairs of the match.
Mya Bui at No. 1 gave the Dons momentum after tallying their first singles win over Marta Ruedas 6-3, 7-5. Singles competition became a dominating effect, when
Emily Maxfield at No. 2 defeated Adriana Gergelyova in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5. Maxfield extends her undefeated singles streak to 11-0.
Hanna Borjeson tied the match 3-3 after a successful battle against Roos Van Reek, 4-6, 6-2, 6-4. Moments later, at No. 4 Treyes clinched the match over Selina Turulja, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4. Treyes previously clinched the dual match this season over UC Davis, Sacramento State, Louisiana Lafayette.

San Francisco will begin WCC play at the Olympic Club versus Pacific on Friday, March 22 at Noon.
