DAVIS, Calif. -- Returning to the courts following last weekend's Battle in the Bay Classic, the USF Dons men's tennis program was in action this week for the UC Davis Invite as they traveled around an hour north of the Hilltop to compete.

It was a great first day of competition from the Dons as two USF doubles teams and three individual student-athletes were able to pick up victories as Johan Garpered, Nikola Kuraica and Moritz Hoffmann each picked up victories on the first day of competition. 

The doubles pairing of Hoffmann and Luka Kalenic once again proved to be a delightful duo for USF, as the pair combined for three total victories before falling just short in the championship of their doubles draw.
