SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Eager to continue their undefeated streak, the University of San Francisco men's soccer team (3-5-3, 2-0-1 WCC) is set to host No. 2 Stanford (8-1-3, 3-0-3 ACC) for a nonconference matchup on Thursday evening at Negoesco Stadium.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- In their last outing, San Francisco and Portland finished in a 1-1 draw on Sunday, Oct. 13, which included Joe Core netted his first collegiate goal. Outshooting the Pilots 24-6, seven different players recorded two or more shots for the Dons including Junhwan Park, who set a new career-high with six shots.
- For the second time in three weeks, Isaiah Easley was named WCC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Oct. 14. Overall, the forward logged his third goal of the campaign in addition to picking up another assist against Gonzaga on Oct. 29. Against Portland, the Clemson transfer logged three total shots, including one on frame. Overall, Easley is currently second in the West Coast conference with 27 shots on the season heading into Thursday night.
- San Francisco is off to an undefeated start in conference play with their record of 2-0-1 as the green and gold are tied for second place overall with seven points. As a team, the Dons lead the conference in shots with 189 on the season. Nationally, San Francisco ranks first in corner kicks per game (7.64), fifth in shots per game (17.18) and seventh in shots on goal per game (7.27).
SCOUTING THE CARDINAL:
- Currently the No. 2 ranked team in the nation, Stanford has only lost one game this season as they are 8-1-3 overall with an undefeated record of 3-0-3 in their first six matches as members of the ACC. In their last contest on the road, Stanford tied No. 15 SMU with a score of 2-2 as the Cardinal outshot the Mustangs 9-4.
- Showing depth on their roster, ten different Cardinals have recorded goals this fall in addition to 14 different student-athletes logging assists. Leading the charge, Zach Bohane and Shane de Flores, who assisted both goals against SMU on Oct. 11, each have 11 points from four goals and three assists.
- In the cage, Rowan Schnebly has shined for Stanford with six shutouts so far, tied for the most in the conference. Overall, the goalkeeper has accumulated 20 saves over 12 games played this season, good for a .690 save percentage.
SERIES HISTORY:
- San Francisco currently leads the head-to-series history between the two programs with a record of 22-19-3. In their last meeting, the Dons upset No. 9 Stanford, 2-1, on Oct. 12, 2023 as Gabriel Bracken Serra found the back of the net with under 30 seconds remaining in regulation to secure the upset for the gree and gold.
