Ellis McKean represented the University of San Francisco at the NCAA West Regional this week as he finished 43
rd overall in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- Making his first-ever appearance in an NCAA postseason event, McKean finished with a time of 9.19.99 as he finished in fifteenth place in Heat 3.
- Mathew Kosgei of New Mexico won the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:25.41, as he placed first overall in Heat 3.
- The West Coast Conference had Kelvin Lim0 (13/8:40.99/Washington State), Paul Talens (24/8:59.98/Gonzaga), Guiliano Scasso (33/9:07.72/Portland), Cooper Laird (41/9:19.04/Gonzaga), McKean, and Sean Janecko (45/9:25.26/Gonzaga).
