Upon the conclusion of his playing career, Sosa returned to Marin County to serve as the head women's soccer coach at College of Marin and also headed up the Central Marin Soccer Club. He has also worked in a scouting capacity for U.S. Soccer.

Born in San Francisco, Steven earned his degree in communications from UC Santa Barbara in 2002.
