Charlie Cross assumed the position of Vice President, Business & Finance at the University of San Francisco in 2000. His responsibilities include oversight of all of the financial functions of the University including accounting, athletics, financial reporting, auditing, treasury functions, investment management, capital construction and operations, risk management, food service and purchasing.
Cross' career in higher education began in 1979 when he was hired as a financial analyst at USF. Since then, he has served the University as budget director, instructor, controller and associate vice president.
A proud alumnus of the Hilltop, Cross earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from USF in 1979, and his MBA in 1990. During his free time, Charlie enjoys rowing and playing golf. He and his wife of 28 years, Gabriella, have two children, Anna and Charlie.
