Negoesco Stadium

Located on Parker Avenue in San Francisco, CA, Negoesco Stadium is a collegiate soccer stadium, home to both the men's and women's division one soccer teams at USF. The field has an Astroturf surface and seats a total of 3,000 people in its bleachers. The turf was first added replacing the original grass in 2016 and was most recently updated before the 2021 season. The
field is named after the men’s soccer coach from 1947 till 1951, Steve Negoesco. Coaching on this field, Negoesco became the first coach ever to reach 500 career wins in college soccer history. Under his leadership, he secured five NCAA championships for the USF men’s soccer program. In 1982, the field was named in his honor.

It showcases the 30 NCAA appearances, 9 college cup appearances and multiple conference titles from the West
Coast Conference and previous members of the Northern California Intercollegiate Soccer Conference/West Coast Intercollegiate Soccer Conference, Pacific Soccer Conference. Additionally, the last banner celebrates the 41 All-American men’s soccer players that came from USF. These can be seen hanging behind the seats on the west wall of the stadium.

Negoesco has hosted a US Open game between the San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy of Major League Soccer in the past. Creating history for their program in 2021, the USF women’s soccer team took down National Champions Santa Clara for the first time with a shutout at their home field. In 2022, the USF women’s soccer team hosted the women’s Chinese National team in a friendly match to open up their Fall season.
