Constantin Roboostoff was born on May 8, 1948 in Shanghai, China. To escape communist rule, the family relocated to Australia in 1952 where the brothers learned to play soccer. They relocated to the United States in 1960. He attended Jefferson Union High School in Daly City, and played for the Daly City Police Athletic League while in high school, coached by Steve Negoesco. He attended USF along with his older brother Alex, and the youngest brother, Archie. All three Roboostoff brothers played for USF under Coach Negoesco. Constantin played from 1967 to 1971 and was a three-time All-Conference player. Archie, the youngest, transferred to USF in the fall of 1973 after playing two years at the junior college level. 

He graduated from USF in 1971 with a Bachelor’s in Economics and a Law Degree from Golden Gate University in 1975. He is a Senior Partner in the law firm of Roboostof-Kalkin, Inc. He continued to play soccer in the local leagues, the San Francisco Soccer League, and NorCal All-Stars.  
 
He was inducted into the USF Hall of Fame in 1977. He was inducted into the Daly City Police Athletic League Hall of Fame in 2013 alongside his brothers.
