PORTLAND, Ore.—The Dons finished off their two game road trip in the same way it began when they played Portland State to a 0-0 stalemate on Sunday afternoon.

It is San Francisco's second straight tie after the Dons played Oregon to the 1-1 decision on Friday night and marks the team's fifth shutout of the season, which is the best in the WCC.

Portland State (3-4-1) had opportunities in the second half to get on the board. In the 63rd minute, Portland State's Ariana Cooley took a corner kick and delivered it to Melissa Bishop and her shot went just wide.

The Dons (5-2-2) had a couple of opportunities of their won but like Portland State were unable to capitalize. San Francisco had two corner kicks turn into no shots in the first half and had another in the second half also get thwarted.

San Francisco has struggled to score goals recently. The Dons have scored two goals in its last four matches but has managed a 1-1-2 record in that time.

Goalkeeper Madalyn Schiffel recorded six saves against Portland State on Sunday, her second highest total of the season (8 vs. Kansas). Portland State goalie Caitlin Plese knocked away three shots by the Dons.

The Dons will hit the pitch again on Thursday when they travel to Southern California to take on the Long Beach State 49ers.
