Rex Walters' Post-Game Comments
Â
"I thought we started out great. We moved the ball great and were getting really good looks. I thought we got a little too happy and let them back in the game. Defensively, we were pretty good. We figured out their zone and were much better in transition defense in the second half."
Â
"We got good looks and when we get good looks, we're going to make shots.
Chris Adams gave us a big lift off the bench and Avry really got it rolling in the second half and Cole was solid all game. We put
Mark Tollefsen on everybody tonight.
Â
"Guys are really taking pride in our defense, both individually and collectively as team. Having each other's back – that's what it's about. When you believe that, you become a pretty good defensive team."
Â
"I'm proud of our guys because it's been about the team. Our guys have unbelievable resolve. It's been a difficult year emotionally for everyone but we've come a long way. The guys who are here believe in each other. It's not over – we have a long ways to go."
