Dons to Play in Two Finals at BBC on Sunday

After taking the first set 6-2, Ka lost the second set in a tiebreaker by the score of 7-6(5). Needing to win the third and final set to advance to the Sunday morning finale, Ka defeated Gauvain in another tiebreaker, this time winning 7-6(6). With the win, Ka advances to the singles championship match on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM against Laura Gulbe of Pepperdine.
Ka was also victorious in doubles, teaming up with Thyra Taune to take down Marie Klocker and Gaelle Ray of San Jose State, 8-6, to advance to the doubles final Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. The pair will square off against Gulbe and Dzina Milovanovic of Pepperdine. The Pepperdine duo automatically advanced to the finals after USF's Hanna Börjeson and Genevieve McCloskey had to forfeit due to injury.
