SAN FRANCISCO - The USF women's volleyball team dropped their first match of the week tonight against Saint Mary's, 0-3, at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. The Dons remain winless in conference play. As they turn the corner on the second half of WCC play, the young squad continues to struggle to find rhythm . The second match up with the Gaels played out in almost identical fashion as the first as the visitors swept.Â
STATS OF THE GAME
- Erica Ronda led the Dons with eight kills.Â
- Laura Leap had five kills, while Marjolijn Oskam added four of her own on a .500 attack percentage.Â
- Leap also recorded one solo block and three block assists.Â
- Kate Ashman had three block assists. Ashman and Leap both had game-highs with their blocks.Â
- The Dons out blocked the Gaels 6-5.Â
WHAT'S UP NEXT
