SAN FRANCISCO – Middle Tennessee handed the San Francisco women's tennis team a 4-0 loss on Saturday at The Olympic Club, on a rain-soaked day in the city.
The Blue Raiders jumped on the board first, taking the doubles point, and nabbed the first three points of singles action to clinch the match. The remaining three duals in progress on Courts 2, 4, and 6 were halted after the team decision was decided.
With the loss, USF moves to 2-7 in the dual match season, while Middle Tennessee improves to 5-8 on the year.
Coming up, the Dons continue in non-conference action, hosting Western Kentucky at 3 p.m. on March 12, and Illinois State at noon on March 14. Both contests are slated to be played at The Olympic Club.
