TOMORROW'S GAME
The Dons (10-11, 5-5 WCC) face Bay Area foe Saint Mary's (13-8, 6-4 WCC) tomorrow evening at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center. USF is coming off a tough home loss against undefeated Gonzaga. However in the game just before, USF took down the conference's top-scoring offense, Pacific, 81-71. Meanwhile, Saint Mary's is on a two-game skid having lost to Portland and BYU on the road. It will be the Dons, tied in the fifth position, versus the fourth-seated Gaels.Â
USF leads the conference in rebounding offense (41.6), defensive rebounds (28.9) and 3-point field goals made per game (6.6). Saint Mary's is tops in field-goal percentage (46.9) with three of the top scorers in the WCC.Â
The game marks the celebration of the
National Girls and Women's in Sports Day. At this game, young women will have an opportunity to connect with players and coaches from all of USF's female sports as well as female athletes from Koret Intramural sports, with a special autograph session after the game.
