COACH'S QUOTE
"I think at the end of the day we weren't good enough in the first 45 minutes," said head coach
Jim Millinder. "We didn't possess the ball well enough against them and when you don't possess well you give them too many chances. I think that sucked the energy out of our legs. At the end of the day, late in the match we just didn't have enough juice, we just weren't good enough in the final third, and they are very athletic and whenever you press a team like that you leave yourself vulnerable and that allowed them to score those two quick goals. But we will learn from it and move on, we look forward to facing USD on Sunday and look forward to finishing strong in the WCC."
NEXT UP
The Dons will play the final road game of the season when they travel to San Diego to take on the Toreros at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
