SPOKANE, Wash. -- The University of San Francisco men's tennis team faced Gonzaga on Friday afternoon, and the Dons fell 1-4 in a clinch format. The Dons are now 6-11 in the season.

The Bulldogs clinched the doubles point to begin the day. The Dons had dropped matches from pairs Johan Joenhagen and Ryan Marker (4-6), and Paul Giraud and Marco Barretto (2-6). With the point given to Gonzaga, Oliver Poysti and Mert Zincirli match went unfinished at 5-4.

Singles started with match from Barretto that ended in a 0-6, 2-6 defeat. Marker was second to finished with a 5-7, 6-4, 6-3 win to give the Dons a point on the day. Giraud (3-6, 7-5, 1-6) and Poysti (6-1, 5-7, 3-6) however dropped their matches, and Joenhagen and Zincirli matches went unfinished.
