SAN FRANCISCO -- The University of San Francisco women's tennis team hosted Pepperdine at the Olympic Club on Friday afternoon. The Dons played the match the whole way through against the Waves, and fell 0-7.
Doubles pairs Anna Sokiran and Shanna Dos Santos, and Hanna Borjeson and Alexa Meyer got a game point in their match, but both ultimately fell 6-1. The doubles point was clinched by Pepperdine, and Emily Maxfield and Mya Bui's match went unfinished at 3-3.
The Dons were able to put up a few game points in singles, but every match was dropped. Meyer had a close matchup on her court, forcing her second set to a tiebreaker game point, but fell 3-6, 6-7 to close out the match.
