SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — The University of San Francisco men's soccer team will travel to East Bay rival California on Saturday at Noon and will conclude non-conference play against Cal Poly on Monday at 5 p.m.. Last week the Dons went 0-2, falling to Sacramento State 4-2 and No. 14 Cal State Fullerton 2-1.

ABOUT SAN FRANCISCO
  • The Dons are 2-5 overall
  • Shayan Charalaghi and Ashish Chattha lead the team with two goals and five points
  • San Francisco has scored four goals this season and allowed 21 goals. The Dons have taken 64 shots and 27 shots on goal
  • Head coach Leonard Griffin and assistant coach Javier-Ayala Hil will revisit their old stomping grounds this Saturday. Griffin was an assistant coach for Kevin Grimes in 2013 and Hil played under Grimes from 2004-07

  • Goalkeeper Drake Callender saved 16 goals (.84 saves percentage) to go with two shutouts
ABOUT CAL POLY 
  • The Mustangs are 3-3-0 overall, collecting wins against Fresno Pacific, Gonzaga, and Westmont
  • Before visiting to the Hilltop the Mustangs will face No. 24 Loyola Marymount on Thursday
  • Emmanuel Perez leads the team with six goals and 14 points. Spencer Held records two goals and five points
