SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Following two impressive offensive performances to begin their 2021-22 season, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (2-0) play in their first neutral site game of the year on Saturday evening as the Dons are set to square off against Davidson College (1-0) at Chase Center, home of the Golden State Warriors.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Returning to Chase Center for the first time since 2019, the Dons will aim to push their winning streak to three games after cruising past LIU, 98-64, and Prairie View A&M, 92-76 to begin their home schedule.
- In their last outing against Prairie View A&M, the lethal backcourt of Bouyea (24 points) and Shabazz (19 points) struck again as the two Preseason All-Conference selections combined for 43 total points, which included Shabazz knocking down five of his eight shots from distance.
- Scoring in double figures for the second straight game, Gabe Stefanini is seeming to find his rhythm on the Hilltop as the 6'3" guard finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals in an all-around effort.
- Down low, Patrick Tapé displayed his promise once again by tallying 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block while also shooting 4-of-5 from the free throw line. Additionally, Yauhen Massalski flirted with a triple-double as he logged 9 points, 6 rebounds, 5 blocks, 1 assist and 1 steal in 28 minutes of action.
- Through two games, the Dons have exploded as a unit offensively as USF currently possesses a +25.0 point scoring margin, averaging 95.0 points per game. Defensively, the Dons are holding their opponents to 44.0 percent from the floor and 27.5 percent from beyond-the-arc.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS:
- Last time out, Davidson handled Delware, 93-71, in their home opener on Tuesday, Nov. 9. In the win, Michigan State transfer Foster Loyer paced the offense with a career-high 27 points in his Wildcat debut while Sam Mennenga recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Additionally, Hyunjung Lee added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists while Michael Jones poured in 13 points.
- As a team, Davidson shot 60.9 percent from three-point land against Delware, including cashing in on nine triples in the first. Overall, the Wildcats led the Hens in fast break points (16-1) and points off turnovers (28-9).
- Historically enjoying success as a program, Davidson is one of just eight teams in NCAA Division I to enter the year with 20 consecutive winning seasons.
- Beginning with their showdown at Chase Center, the Wildcats will start a four-game stretch on the road in San Francisco as they are set to compete in the 2021 Myrtle Beach Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C. next weekend.
SERIES HISTORY:
- In a battle of Steph Curry's alma matter versus his home town team, Saturday's meeting between the Dons and the Wildcats will be the first matchup all-time between the two programs.
