SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Hungry to remain perfect in the early going, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (4-0) will play in their first televised game of the season on Thursday night when they welcome the Nevada Wolfpack (1-2) to War Memorial at the Sobrato Center for a 7:30 pm matchup.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- On Monday night, USF followed up their gritty win over Davidson with another dominant performance at home as the Dons downed Samford, 77-55, behind the strength of four players in double figures.
- Leading the charge, the backcourt duo of Khalil Shabazz and Jamaree Bouyea shined once again as Shabazz logged his second double-double as a Don by finishing with 11 points and a game-high 10 rebounds while Bouyea added 19 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Comin off the bench, Julian Rishwain added 13 points on 3-of-4 from beyond-the-arc while Yauhen Massalski scored a season-high 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting.
- Through four games, the Dons are averaging a notable 83.6 points per game while limiting their opponents to 63.8 points per game. Enjoying success from distance, USF also averages 10.5 made three-pointers per game to their opponent's 5.5 On the boards, the Dons currently own a 10.0 rebounding margin. Defensively, USF has flexed their muscle as they have totaled 24 blocks through four games, good for 6.0 blocks per game as a unit.
- Looking ahead, Thursday will mark the fourth of five games at home to begin the season for the Dons as USF will host Morgan State on Monday, Nov. 22 at 6:00 pm before heading to the Las Vegas Invitational next weekend on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26.
SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK:
- Last time out, Nevada began their road trip with their second of three straight WCC opponents when they traveled to Santa Clara on Tuesday, Nov. 16. Despite a 42-39 halftime advantage, the Broncos came out of the break on fire as SCU scored the first nine points of the second half, then breaking open a tie game (57-57) with an 11-0 run. Individually, Grant Sherfield paced the offense with 23 points, his 14th-career 20-point game, while Desmond Cambridge Jr. finished with 18 points and four 3-pointers.
- Dangerous from multiple angles, five players average double figures for Nevada so far this season: Sherfield (17.7 ppg), Desmond Cambridge Jr. (15.0 ppg), AJ Bramah (14.0 ppg), Warren Washington (12.3 ppg) and Will Baker (10.0 ppg). Overall, these five the group are shooting an impressive 47.8 percent (76-for-159) from the floor.
- As a team, Nevada is scheduled to face five WCC teams this year, having lost to San Diego and Santa Clara in their previous two outings. Following their showdown with USF, the Wolfpack will also square off against Pepperdine on Nov. 30 and LMU on Dec. 18 at home.
- For the first time since 2011-12, Nevada is off to a 1-2 start as the Wolfpack are aiming to avoid their first three-game skid since Feb. 17-25, 2015.
SERIES HISTORY:
- Thursday's matchup will mark the 81st all-time meeting between the two programs as USF currently hold a 48-32 edge in the all-time series. In their previous matchup, the teams met Dec. 2, 2020, in Reno, with the Dons coming out on top with an 85-60 victory.
