LAS VEGAS, Nevada- Hitting the road for the first time this season, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (6-0, 0-0 WCC) will aim to continue their momentum as they compete in the 2021 Las Vegas Invitational on Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25.
First, USF will battle Towson in an evening matchup on Thanksgiving followed by a matchup with UAB or New Mexico on Friday night pending the results of Thursday's games.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- In their last action on the hardwood, the Dons downed Morgan State, 83-67, on Monday, Nov. 22 to cap off a perfect 5-0 home stand to begin the season. Notably, Julian Rishwain was named the Player of the Game after finishing with a season-high 18 points on 4-of-5 from beyond-the-arc while Jamaree Bouyea finished with 22 points and a game-high seven assists, marking Bouyea's twelfth straight contest scoring in double figures.
- Continuing to be a workhouse in his fifth year on the Hilltop, Bouyea currently ranks first in field goals made (43), second in the WCC in minutes per game (34.3), fourth in points per game (19.2) and fourth in ssists (24). On the defensive side of the ball, the 6'2" guard is also second in steals (24), fourth in blocks (7) and eighth in defensive rebounds (27).
- As a team, the Dons have shot the ball at an impressive rate from beyond-the-arc as USF currently ranks first in the WCC and eighth in the nation in three-point field goals made (66) to begin the year. Individually, Rishwain currently leads the WCC with a 63.2 percent clip from distance.Â
SCOUTING THE TIGERS:
- Last time out, Towson handed Penn, 76-61, at home on Tuesday, Nov. 23. Offensively, Terry Nolan Jr. led the charge for the Tigers as he finished with a game-high 25 points on 10-of-18 from the floor while Cameron Holden shined with a 20-point, 19 rebound double-double in 36 minutes of action.
- With the victory over Penn, head coach Pat Skerry notched his 150th win at the helm of the Tigers, becoming the third head coach in program history to achieve the feat. In his eleventh year at Towson, Skerry tallied at least 18 victories in six different seasons since 2012-13.
- Similar to USF, the Tigers have six Division I transfers on their roster entering the weekend: Holden (UT Martin), Nolan Jr. (Bradley + George Washington), Antonio Rizzuto (UAlbany), Curtis Holland III (High Point), Juwan Gray (San Diego) andChase Paar (George Washington).Â
SERIES HISTORY:
Thursday's matchup will mark the second meeting all-time between the two programs and the second consecutive Thanksgiving matchup as the Dons previously defeated Towson, 79-68, on Nov. 26, 2020.
