CATCHING UP WITH COACH GOODENBOUR:
"Good team win tonight, I thought we hit some big shots and got a few stops when we needed to and that helped us get the win. Jess stepped up and knocked down a couple threes, Claudia pulled in an offensive rebound and put back with the foul at the end. Lots of players contributed today."
UP NEXT:
USF now prepares for a quick turnaround tomorrow afternoon for their second tilt of the Nugget Classic with a meeting against the Drake Bulldogs. Drake played Nevada today and defeated the Dons in their lone previous meeting during the 1997-98 season.Â
