USF AT A GLANCE
LAST TIME OUT
USF kept its winning streak alive with a dominating 84-66 win over Loyola Marymount at Gersten Pavilion.  The win by the Dons avenged an earlier season loss at home and gave USF a rare Southern California sweep after defeating Pepperdine 68-54 on Thursday. In the win over the Lions Ioanna Krimili went for 29 and broke a USF single-game record with nine made 3-point field goals.

KRIMILI SWEEPS WEEKLY AWARDS
For the second time this season, redshirt freshman guard Ioanna Krimili took home the UCU WCC Player and Freshman of the Week honors. Krimili was a force behind the Dons 3-0 week which included a sweep over Pepperdine and an 18-point road win over LMU.  For the week, Krimili scored 76 points, averaging 25.3 points per game.  She shot 60.5 percent from the field going 26-for-43 and was even better from beyond the arc, connecting on 63.6 percent of her attempts (21-for-33).

A WIN WOULD MEAN...
• The Dons would improve to 10-8 overall
• Improve the Dons to 4-3 at home.
• Give the Dons a season sweep over the Gaels for the first time since 1995-96 season
• Improve the Dons to 6-6 in the WCC
• Mark the fifth-straight win - the longest such streak since: 2/16/17 to 3/2/17
• Run the Dons conference winning streak to five games the longest streak since: 2/9/02-2/28/08 when the Dons won six-straight

SCOUTING REPORT: SAINT MARY'S GAELS
The Gaels come to the Hilltop sporting a 5-12 overall record and a 3-8 mark in the WCC.  Saint Mary's has lost two-straight and three of their last six dating back to the Dons road win over SMC at McKeon Pavilion on January 9.  As a team, the Gaels are averaging 63.9 points per game while shooting 41.9 percent from the field. Their opponents are averaging 72.2 points per game and shooting 43.8 percent from the field. From beyond the arc, the Gaels are shooting 33.5 percent from the field.  Three players are averaging double figures for Saint Mary's with Taycee Wedin leading the team with 12.3 points per game.  Madeline Holland is averaging 11.7 and Finau Tonga is averaging 10.6 ppg.

SERIES VS. THE GAELS
Thursday marks the 70th time the Dons and Gaels have squared off. The Gaels own a 46-23 advantage in the series that dates back to the 87-88 season.  At home, the Dons are 12-21 against the Lions.  After losing seven-straight to the Gaels, USF is currently riding a two-game winning streak.  A win on Saturday would give the Dons their first regular season sweep over the Gaels since the 1995-96 season.  Last time out the Dons defeated the Gaels on the road 73-56 on January 9.
