SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Back home following a week on the road, the University of San Francisco men's basketball team (6-1) will welcome Arkansas-Little Rock (2-5) to the Hilltop on Wednesday evening for a 7:00 pm matchup at War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

DONS AT A GLANCE:
- Last week, USF took down Northern Iowa and Wichita State in Kansas City to win the 2022 Hall of Fame Classic before falling in a tight battle on the road at Davidson. Notably, Khalil Shabazz was named tournament MVP for the Dons as the versatile guard enters this week eighth in the WCC with an average of 15.1 points per game.
- As a team, USF currently ranks in the top three in the conference in assists per game (8.4, second), steals per game (8.1, second) and rebounding (39.0 rebounds per game, tied for third).
- Dangerous from all angles, the Dons will roll out three double figure scorers entering the contest as Shabazz (15.1 ppg), Tyrell Roberts (14.0 ppg) and Zane Meeks (11.6 ppg) have led the charge offensively for the green and gold so far.
- Looking ahead, Wednesday will mark the first of three games in the Bay Area for the Dons as USF will square off Utah State at Chase Center on Sunday, Dec. 4 followed by a home matchup with Merrimack on Wednesday, Dec. 7. Overall, the Dons will play six of their next seven games in the city of San Francisco to close out non-conference action.
SCOUTING THE TROJANS:
- In their last time on the hardwood, Little Rock defeated Jackson State before falling to No. 11 Indiana and Miami (Ohio) last week.
- Head coach Darrell Walker is currently in year number five at the helm of the Trojans as the NBA veteran sits just one win shy of 100 career wins as a collegiate head coach. Impressively, Walker is the only coach in the country that has served as a head coach at the NBA, WNBA, Division I and Division II levels as well as being one of only five active collegiate coaches that won an NBA title as a player.
- Senior Myron Gardner continues to lead Little Rock on both ends of the floor as he currently ranks first on the team in rebounding (9.3 rpg), assists (4.1 apg) and steals (2.1 spg) as well second on the team in scoring (12.9 ppg). Overall, Gardner enters the matchup in the top 50 nationally in five statistical categories.
- Against the WCC, Little Rock holds an all-time record of 6-7 as this will be the second straight year in which the Trojans have faced off against a WCC opponent. Last year, Little Rock was taken down by Loyola Marymount, 82-63, in Los Angeles on Nov. 17, 2021.

- Wednesday's meeting between the Dons and the Trojans will mark the first matchup all-time between the two programs.
