DONS AT A GLANCE:
  • Last time out, USF fell to Utah State, 82-64, at Chase Center on Sunday, Dec. 4. Leading the charge offensively, Tyrell Roberts finished with a team-high 18 points while Marcus Williams (13 points) and Zane Meeks (11 points) also finished in double figures against the Aggies.
  • Continuing to be a pest on the defensive end, Khalil Shabazz sits atop the conference in total steals (23) and steals per game (2.6) as of Dec. 6.
  • With a win on Wednesday night, USF would push their non-conference winning streak at home to 15 consecutive games.
  • As a unit, the Dons remain dangerous from distance as USF has knocked down at least 10+ three pointers in six of their nine games so far this season.
SCOUTING THE WARRIORS:
  • Entering the contest following a home loss to Vermont on Sunday, Dec. 4, Merrimack will aim to pick up their first road win on Wednesday as the Warriors' lone victory of the season came over Clark University at home on Nov. 10.
  • Dominating in his four games this year, forward Jordan Minor has tallied at least 15 points in the four contests he has played in as his 20.0 points per game lead Merrimack heading into the matchup with USF. Additionally, his 8.3 rebounds per game also lead the Warriors.
  • Alongside Minor, Ziggy Reid has played in all ten games for Merrimack this season as he sits second on the team with an average of 12.4 points per game.

Wednesday's meeting between the Dons and the Warriors will mark the first meeting all-time between the two programs.
