Men's Tennis Defeats NMSU at Sacramento State Tournament

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Competing in the first day of the Sacramento State Tournament, the USF Dons got off to a great start on Friday afternoon as they took down the New Mexico State Aggies 4-2 to pick up their sixth overall win of the spring. The Dons also faced off with fellow WCC opponent the Saint Mary's Gaels in Sac Town but ended up falling just short in a narrow 4-3 defeat in their second group match of the day.

The Dons got off to a quick start on Friday by sweeping the doubles matches and then went on to pick up individual wins from Nil Giraldez, Stevie Gould, Mitch Johnson and Nikola Kuraica for the team's second win in a row.
