SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- It was a weekend full of comebacks for the USF Dons baseball team (16-15, 5-4) as they came through again in the clutch to walk-off the San Diego Toreros (17-9, 6-3) 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond for USF's second consecutive conference series win.
Freshman outfielder

- USF would respond an inning later as Jordan Vujovich went the other way and grounded a single to left field that scored Luke Keaschall and cut the deficit to 2-1 in the third inning.
- Both pitching staffs were on top of their games for the vast majority of the game with no runs being scored before the bottom of the ninth.
- Greim got the rally started with a pinch hit single that set up Freeman who delivered in a massive way with his two-run walk off blast that gave USF the 3-2 win and sent the Dons faithful home happy.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
- Keaschall was a force at the top of the USF order as he went 3-for-4 with a run scored as he rose his overall batting average for the season to .333 through 31 games.
- Vujovich displayed his tremendous on-base skills as he went 1-for-2 at the plate with a walk and an RBI hitting in the two-hole in the Dons' batting order.
- Greim delivered in the clutch for the second straight game as he now has back-to-back games with pinch hit singles and would score the tying run in eventual USF victories.
- Freeman in his short time on the Hilltop has proven that he's never afraid of the big moment as he's now delivered two walk-off hits this season both in pinch hit appearances. Sunday's walk-off home run was also the first round tripper of his college career.
- Relief pitchers Adam Shew, Will Hearn, Sam Beck, Lance Santerre and Josh Mollerus all combined to throw 5 2/3 scoreless innings as the USF bullpen was nails keeping the Dons in the game before the offense could come through with a big hit.
