SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Beginning their final week of the regular season, the USF Dons beach volleyball team (1-23) came up short on the road as they competed against Bay Area rival the Santa Clara Broncos (13-10) in a match that ended in a 4-1 final score.

The Dons' pairing of McKenna Towne and Letizia Aquilino earned a two-set victory to account for USF's lone point of the afternoon.

UP NEXT:
The Dons will be back in action this Friday as they will prepare to take on both the California Golden Bears (21-6) and the Saint Mary's Gaels (9-14) from Berkeley starting at 12:00 p.m. on April 14.
