Dons Finish Sixth at Nationals in Florida

CLERMONT, Fla. - Suiting up on the national stage, the University of San Francisco triathlon team finished sixth overall at the USAT Women's Championship on Saturday afternoon, which included a top ten finish from Josi Seerig.

RACE HIGHLIGHTS:

Dominating for San Francisco yet again, Seerig picked up her third straight top ten finish as the sophomore finished tenth overall in a field of 207 student-athletes. Notably, her highest finish came in the swim as she finished third with a time of 9:20, but she also placed in the top 25 in both the run and bike.
Close behind Seerig, Maite Kuestner made a splash as she led the Dons on the bike with a time of 30:25, good for 15^th. Overall, the sophomore finished 22^nd as an individual.
After Seerig and Kuestner, Heidi Henry also displayed her poise as she finished fifteenth overall in the swim with a time of 9:36. Overall, Henry placed 44^th as an individual.
