SEATTLE, WA. -The University San Francisco volleyball team (3-20, 1-12 WCC), came up short in its final road match of 2025, falling on the road at Seattle U (7-16, 1-11 WCC)
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
- The Dons dropped the first set 26-24 despite a strong performance on the attacking end. San Francisco registered a .308 attack percentage with 16 kills in the set loss.
- San Francisco evened the match at 1-1 following a 26-24 set-two win. The Dons took the set with the help of a strong performance on the attacking end. San Francisco registered a .346 attack percentage with 12 kills in the set win. The Dons opened up a 10-4 lead in the stanza and coasted to victory from there. San Francisco's front row had a solid defensive performance, blocking five Seattle U attacks in the stanza.
- USF dropped set three, putting the Dons in a 2-1 hole. The Dons couldn't hang on in a back-and-forth battle, losing 26-24 in a set that featured 12 lead changes and was tied 17 times. Neither team had a lead of more than three points along the way.
- San Francisco then fell in the fourth set 25-21 to finish off the match. The Dons fell behind on the first point and never took the lead before falling in the set.
