Dons, Tritons Fight Until Final Whistle in La Jolla

LA JOLLA, Calif. - The University of San Francisco women's soccer team (1-4-1) fought until the final whistle on Sunday afternoon as the Dons finished in a scoreless draw, 0-0, with UC San Diego (2-3-4) at Triton Soccer Stadium.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:

  • San Francisco registered 12 shots in the scoreless tie, four of them on goal. The Dons faced 10 UC San Diego shots, three of them on goal. Tyra Bengtsson-Stenseth led San Francisco with three saves.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:

  • Bengtsson-Stenseth totaled three saves for the Dons out of 10 total Tritons shots.
  • San Francisco recorded four shots on goal.
