Led by West Coast Conference Coach of the Year Mark Priede, the USF women’s golf team captured the 1997 WCC title with a team score of 670 at the league tournament.
The WCC championships were held at Bayonet Golf Club in Fort Ord. Marie Borjesson won the individual title, firing a 15 over par 159 over the two day event. Borjesson and Erin Rogers were both named to the WCC All-Conference first team.
