Kyle Coburn arrives at the Hilltop in his first season as director of baseball operations at USF. Coburn is responsible for coordinating team travel, budget planning, on-campus recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the baseball program. 

A Southern California native, Coburn attended Huntington Beach High School and was the starting second baseman for the Oilers 2015 CIF Championship team. For the 2020-21 season, he returned to the program as the assistant junior varsity coach.  

Coburn graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Oregon in 2019. During his time in Eugene, he was the President of the Oregon Club Baseball team and member of the Club Sports Advisory Board. Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s degree in  Sport Management through the University of San Francisco.
