- 2023 – Present
- Spent three non-consecutive years as an assistant at Foothill JC where he was involved in two Final Fours
- Served as an assistant coach for the U19 San Francisco Glens MLS team that went to the finals of the MLS Next playoffs
- Served as assistant coach of the San Francisco Glens USL 2 team who reached the Western Conference Finals as a top 16 team in the country
- Took over the head coaching position and led the 2022-23 Glens to a second-place finish in the Northwest division, which included winning their group in Maryland at the MLS Next Flex tournament
- Rix also led this group to the national round of 16 in the MLS Next playoffs.
- Played in the Arsenal Academy
- Part of the Portsmouth youth team
- Had stops at Luton and several semi-professional organizations
