2017 Beach: Partnered with Emily Reed for three wins at the No. 1 spot, which tied for the team lead... played all 17 of her matches at No. 1... teamed with Camille Araujo for five contests ... won back-to-back matches with Reed against Santa Clara's Nikki Hess and Allison Kantor and Sacramento State's Madeline Cannon and Morgan Stanley ... posted another win over Hess and Kantor in the WCC Championships.
2016 Indoor: Ranked third on the team with 55 blocks, while tying for fourth on the team with 76 kills ... tallied a season-high eight kills in a win over UNC Asheville (Aug. 27) ... made a season-best four blocks on three occasions: UC Riverside (Sept. 17) and Pacific (Oct. 22 and Nov. 22).
Previous school: Played two seasons at Indian Hills Community College … compiled 80 kills, or 1.57 per set, 43 digs and 35 total blocks in her sophomore campaign … recorded freshman stats of 210 kills, or 1.71 per set, 229 digs and 94 total blocks, fourth in total points on the team … squad finished with a combined 64-12 record in the past two seasons … earned NJCAA Academic All-Conference honors in her final year at Indian Hills.
Prep/club career: Played at TroppVolley Norge, a school for volleyball players in Norway, competing on both the indoor and beach squads … coached by Magnus Borge Johansen and Bonolo Ramphomane … has experience on the junior and senior national teams, playing in the 2010 CEV Junior European Championship, 2013 European Cup and 2015 CEV European Championship.
Personal: Daughter of Inger Buvarp and Frank Lavik … has one sister, Elise Buvarp Lavik … born April 8, in Tonsberg, Norway.
