Video analyst Creston Creswell has joined the USF Dons women's soccer staff to begin the 2022 season assisting in the program's video work.
Creswell has been coaching for 20 years at a variety of levels, with his full-time career beginning with the Liverpool FC International Academy in Japan where he was mentored by head coach Neil Murphy who signed with Liverpool as a player at the age of eight year old.Â
Creston was the first coach in Japan to earn the Liverpool FC Coaches Accreditation, visited Anfield and Kirkby Training facility for education on multiple occasions and was a proud winner of the Global Session of the Month award.Â
During the COVID-19 pandemic when hours on the field were limited, Creswell reflected on his love of watching professional games from a tactical cam view and earned his Performance Analyst degree from United Soccer Coaches under a former analyst from the Scottish FA.Â
Creswell incorporates video analysis in his head coaching role at Urban High School and San Francisco Elite Academy, where he also holds the position of the Chief Information Officer and Director of Soccer Technology. Adding to his experience in the game, Creswell's professional background is built around experience in talent development, recruiting, analytics, organizational effectiveness, business transformation and the selection, implementation and adoption of large technology systems.
An avid student of the game, Creswell watches multiple games from a variety of professional leagues and has traveled to nine FIFA World Cup tournaments.Â
