(San Francisco) – San Francisco rolled to its second straight West Coast Conference win with a 78-63 result against Pepperdine Saturday afternoon at War Memorial Gym. The Dons (12-8, 2-4 WCC) got another balanced effort and avenged an earlier loss to the Waves (7-10, 1-5 WCC).

The Waves shot .429 (21-49) for the game but USF put the clamps down in the second half limiting Pepperdine to just .357 (10-28) in the final 20 minutes.
Junior guard Michael Williams scored a team-high 17 points – 15 after the intermission – to lead led an efficient Dons offense, which had five players reach double-digit scoring.
San Francisco dominated in the paint and outscored the Waves 38-16 down low. Junior forward Perris Blackwell added 15 points on 6-of-8 from the field, while sophomore forward Cole Dickerson added 12 points and five rebounds off the bench for USF.
Senior guard Rashad Green chipped in 11 points and seven rebounds while sophomore guard Dominique O'Comnnor had 10 points. Senior forward Angelo Caloiaro paced the Green and Gold with a game-high 10 rebounds. USF won the battle of the boards 33-26.
