
Women's Golf Finish Fifth In Oregon State Invitational

Corvallis, OR – The San Francisco women's golf team, led by Emelie Lundstrom's 13th-place finish, finished fifth at the Oregon State Invitational today. The 54-hole tournament was hosted by Oregon State of the Pac-12 at Trysting Tree Golf Club, a par 72, 6,141-yard layout.
Lundstrom, a freshman from Sweden, shot 221 (77, 72, 72) to tie for 13th. Sophomore Peppiina Kaija finished 21st with a combined score of 225 (74, 75, 76), and freshman Michelle Condry completed the two-day event with a 226 (74, 71, 81).
Two additional Pac-12 schools, Washington (853) and Washington State (878), finished the event in the top two spots.
The San Francisco women's golf team will return to action on October 7 at the Portland State Rose City Collegiate in Portland, Oreg.
