Now 5-3 on the season after last night's 72-61 win over Vermont in the Golden Gate Challenge...posted a 96-73 victory over Sonoma State on Wednesday night...have won two straight and three of the last four games following a two-game losing streak.

Have met Illinois State just once previously with the Redbirds coming away with a 68-52 victory at the Cowboy Shootout in Casper, Wyo. on Dec. 27, 1985.

Senior Cole Dickerson has scored 54 points on 19-of-25 shooting from the floor, including 7-of-7 from 3-point range, over the first two games of the Golden Gate Challenge...he followed a 26-point outing vs. Sonoma State with a 28 point effort last night against Vermont.

On the strength of his last two games, Dickerson has taken over the team lead in scoring with a 15.1 point per game average...Dickerson led the team in scoring last season with a 15.2 ppg average....three different players have topped the team's scoring charts at different times this season.

Have scored 90+ points five times this season and are the WCC's third-highest scoring team averaging 86.4 ppg.
