The Dons open up December with a road game at Nevada. Hoping to keep the road momentum alive after a one-point win at Sacramento State, USF enters the contest with a 4-2 mark on the season, and a 2-1 record away from the Hilltop.

Between the Baselines
The Dons are led by senior
Taylor Proctor's 23.7 points on .559 shooting and 10.3 rebounds per game. Proctor's point tally currently rates ninth in the NCAA, and with three double-doubles on the year she stands tied for 18th, nationally. After a career night for junior
Rachel Howard, she leaps up the leaderboard. Howard averages 13.8 points, hitting 43.8 percent of her attempts from beyond the arc, and 3.5 assists.
Zhane Dikes adds 12.8 points and a team-high 2.2 steals per night.Â
As a team, USF is leading the WCC in assists per game with Howard and Dikes landing in the league top 10, and the Dons rate 15th in the country. USF's .479 shooting percentage stands in 13th nationally, and second in the league.
Know the Foe
Nevada enters the contest still seeking its first win of the season, after falling to its first six foes of the year. The Wolfpack are led by Nyasha Lesure's 14.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. A.J. Cephas has been big on the block, compiling 10 of Nevada's 17 total swats, and she also leads the squad with 2.3 steals per game.
Series Snippits
The Dons lead the all-time series against Nevada, 10-6. The last meeting against the Wolfpack was the first in the Azzi era, a 63-48 win at War Memorial on Nov. 25, 2014.
The Dons were paced in the victory by
Rachel Howard, who poured in a game-high 16 points on a hot-handed 5-of-8 shooting in the first half of action.
Zhane Dikes came up with a stat line of 11 points, nine rebounds, four steals and three assists in the decisive victory.
Last Time Out
The San Francisco Dons faced a hockey-style offense with line-change substitutions, aggressive full-court pressure and speedy three-point attempts for the Hornets throughout. But the Dons prevailed 95-94 Saturday afternoon at The Nest.
With the victory, USF moves to 4-2 on the season and the Dons' offense tallied its highest point total in the
Jennifer Azzi era.
The offense was keyed with five women reaching double-digit scoring, led by a career-high 25 points, eight rebounds and six assists for
Rachel Howard. Senior
Taylor Proctor notched her third double-double of the year with a 24-point, 12-rebound effort and the basket that put the Dons up to stay.Â
Junior
Hashima Carothers finished with 11 points and seven rebounds in 22 minutes of action, and
Zhane Dikes contributed 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Claudia Price added 11 points on 4-for-5 shooting, sinking her two attempts from the free throw line with 3.6 seconds to play to ice the contest.
Gang Green
Nevada will be the first NCAA Division I opponent the Dons have faced off that does not sport sport Green as their primary color. The only non-green team USF has lined up against this season is DII opponent Holy Names.
