REPEAT PERFORMANCE?
The last time the Dons opened WCC play with at least six wins was in 2004. That season, USF held a 6-3-3 nonconference record before going on to finish 10-7-3, which was good for a tie for fourth place in the WCC that year. That was also the last time the Dons posted a double-digit win total.
STEADY AS SHE GOES
Rochelle Weerackoon is approaching the USF record for career games played. The senior has appeared in 70 contests during her career, making 24 starts. The program record was set by Kelli Bryant (1992-95) and Jaciara Mello (2011-14) who each appeared in 79 matches for the Dons. Sydnie Telson (69 matches) and Alex Alugas (69) are right behind Weerackoon.
TWICE IS NICE
Samantha Jehnings enjoyed a hot streak earlier this season, scoring three goals in wo contests. Jehnings netted a pair of goals in USF's 3-1 win over San Jose State (Sept. 15), making her the first Don to score multiple goals since Mackenzie Krieser scored two in a 4-1 win over Sacramento State on Aug. 31, 2012. Jehnings scored her first goal of the season at Oakland on Sept. 13.
ONE FOR THE AGES
Senior Madalyn Schiffel became the USF career leader in shutouts in goal with the Dons' 2-0 win at Oakland on Sept. 13. Schiffel surpassed Amy Voiland (1994-98) with her 22nd-career shutout. Schiffel now has 23 total shutouts to her credit, 20 of which are solo shutouts.
INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR
The Dons feature two players who have earned national team caps - senior Leticia Torres made four appearances with the Chilean national team last fall; sophomore Camille Wilson made four appearances as the youngest (17 years-old) member of the Phillippine national team in 2013, scoring her first international goal against Indonesia.
PUTTING UP ZEROS
The Dons' 2-0 shutout at Oakland on Sept. 13 gave USF their sixth clean sheet of the year. The last time USF started a season with such a stingy defense was in 2009 when the Dons also opened the year with six shutouts in their first eight contests.
EARLY AND OFTEN
USF has outscored opponents 15-6 so far this season, including a 9-3 advantage in first-half scoring. The Dons are also outshooting opponents 141-137.

PILE IT ON
