Between the Baselines
The collaborative nature of the USF offense has been a focus point on the season, and Dons have coupled solid shooting with 16.0 assists per game, good for 33rd in the nation. The squad ranks in the top three in the league in shooting percentages, coming in nationally at 21st in free throw percentage (.749), 27th in 3-point field goal percentage (.358) and 56th in field goal percentage (.429).

The Dons are led by senior Taylor Proctor's 18.3 points on .484 shooting, 8.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 blocks per game. Zhane Dikes adds 14.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.2 steals, and Rachel Howard contributes 10.9 points on .371 shooting from beyond the arc and 2.8 assists a night.

Know the Foe
San Diego enters Saturday's game sporting a 21-4 overall record, and an 11-3 mark in WCC play. The team is coming off a 61-47 home loss to Santa Clara on Thursday, dropping two of its last three games. Despite the recent shortcomings on the court, San Diego leads the WCC with a +11.7 scoring margin this season.

The Toreros are paced by twins Malina and Maya Hood. Malina averages 18.4 points and 6.0 rebounds while her sister contributes 14.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game. The pair combine for 5.1 steals per game, ranking first and second in the WCC, individually.

Series Snippits
The Toreros have the 39-26 advantage in the all-time series. USF's last win in San Diego came on Jan. 24, 2004, by a final score of 83-74. San Diego has the 16-4 lead over the Dons in the last 20 iterations in the series.

Last Game Versus
San Diego 67, San Francisco 58, OT | Jan. 7, 2016 War Memorial at the Sobrato Center
Playing the first WCC overtime game of the season, USF team took San Diego to the wire before falling 67-58.

The Dons and the Toreros were locked in a back-and-forth battle for much of the game before San Diego managed to pull away in the bonus period, outscoring USF 13-4 in the extra five minutes from War Memorial at the Sobrato Center.

The senior duo of Taylor Proctor and Zhane Dikes led the Dons, combining for 67 percent of the USF offensive output. Proctor finished with 22 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Running the point, Dikes added 15 points and seven rebounds. Rachel Howard chipped in 11 points and Michaela Rakova contributed 10 rebounds for the Green and Gold.

Last Time Out
USF held the scoreboard advantage at league-leading BYU for more than 38 minutes. But in the end, a last-second heave by BYU's Lexi Eaton Rydalch ended the contest with the home team victorious, 65-62, Thursday night at the Marriott Center.

The Dons did nearly everything right but win in the contest.

USF senior Taylor Proctor led the way with 27 points, including a 10-of-11 effort from the line, seven rebounds and four steals. Along with Proctor's stellar night, USF's Anna Seilund and Claudia Price each finished with 10 points. Seilund, a sophomore from Copenhagen, Denmark, added a game- and current career-high seven assists in the contest.

Tied at the top of the scoreboard was Rydalch, who also finished with 27 points, needing 23 attempts from the field and a 9-of-10 night at the line to get there. Her near-half court rainbow with 1.5 seconds on the clock and the game knotted at 62 found the bottom of the twine and sent the Dons away empty handed.

Triple Threat
USF is shooting .358 from long range on the season, good for 27th in the NCAA, and third in the WCC.

Individually, Taylor Proctor (.395/3rd), Anna Seilund (.382/6th) and Rachel Howard (.371/8th) all rate in the WCC's top 10 in 3-point percentage, and the Dons are one of three squads with multiple women on the list (BYU, Portland).

70 - The Magic Number
The Dons are 12-1 on the season when scoring at least 70 points, with the loss coming at the hands of Utah Valley in a 94-88 overtime game on Nov. 23.

Playing the Percentages
Shooting 42.9 percent from the floor, the Dons have seven women over the .500-mark in true shooting percentage, which takes into account field goals, 3-pointers and free throws. Raushan Gultekin (.588 ts%) and Taylor Proctor (.585 ts%) lead the way, followed by Zhane Dikes (.538 ts%), Claudia Price (.558 ts%), Anna Seilund (.529 ts%) and Rachel Howard (.521 ts%). Albeit a small sample size, in freshman Jaylin Jones' eight games of action, her true shooting percentage comes in at 103.6 percent, as she had her first misses of the season in USF's game against Santa Clara (4-5 fg, 3-4 3fg, 3-4 ft).

NCAA Active Career Leaders
Taylor Proctor currently stands as one of 12 women in the NCAA with at least 1,500 points and 800 rebounds. She is joined on the senior-laden list by defending NCAA Player of the Year Breanna Stewart (UConn), Shereesha Richards (Albany), Jillian Alleyne (Oregon), Courtney Williams (South Florida), Nathalie Fontaine (Ball State), Joy Adams (Iona), Erika Livermore (Fairleigh Dickinson), Brittney Martin (Oklahoma State), Talia Walton (Washington) and Ruvanna Campbell (Ill.-Chicago). Michigan State's Aerial Powers is the lone junior in the dozen.

She ranks 37th among active Division I scoring leaders (1,619 points). She also lands in the top-40 among active players in field goals (595/36th) and double-doubles (23/39th). Fellow senior Zhane Dikes rates 15th in NCAA Division I in career free throw attempts (563) and 19th in makes (408).
