Tailgate with the Dons on Saturday

SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco athletics department is hosting a tailgate to celebrate the NCAA-bound women's basketball team prior to their first round contest against No. 13 Stanford at Maples Pavilion.
The festivities begin at 3:30 p.m., and will run until 5:30 p.m., 30 minutes prior to tip between the 13th-seeded Dons and the No. 4 seed Cardinal.
The tailgate will take place outside of Jimmy V's Sports Café, located at the Arrillaga Family Sports Center (641 Campus Drive) across the street from the basketball arena. Tailgate food will be available to fans, with a full meal offered for $15. Select a main course of a cheeseburger, hot dog, chicken sandwich or veggie burger, and add side items of watermelon, chips and a non-alcoholic drink for $15, tax included. The event will be BYOB, and drinks will be available to responsible patrons over 21 years of age, or fans are welcome to bring their own drink of choice.
Pre-register for food online with a credit card payment now, or purchase your meal at the tailgate for $15, cash only. To obtain game tickets, visit gostanford.com. Available tickets to the USF seating sections can be viewed using the code USFDONS.
