Coach's Minute | Dons Search for a Win on the Road this Weekend

AT A GLANCE
SAN FRANCISCO - The Dons are still on the hunt of their first West Coast Conference win and this weekend, their search will take them to Pepperdine and Loyola Marymount. Both opponents were ranked in the bottom half of the WCC preseason poll, but are doing better than anticipated. The Waves and Lion are currently ranked fifth and sixth, respectively, with identical 3-3 WCC records in conference standings.
Pepperdine ranks second in the conference in kills per sets (13.86), blocks (2.62 per set) and digs (15.90 per set). Jasmine Gross leads the Waves with a .343 attack percentage, ranking fourth in the WCC. Gross leads the conference in blocks with 107 in conference play. Hannah Frohling is also an offensive threat with 264 total kills amassed so far.
The Waves also register third in the West Coast group in hitting percentage (.224). Loyola Marymount tops the charts in service aces and comes in fourth in three categories (assists, kills, blocks, digs). Emma Johnson is at the helm of the Lions attack with her .323 attack percentage (seventh in the conference). Alexis Morrow joins her in top-10 rankings with a .307 percentage.

- The Dons starting setter Erin Anthony is ranked fifth in the WCC for total assists with 583, 8.45 per set. She has the highest attack percentage on the squad, registering a .243 on 46 kills.
