THE RUNDOWN
PORTLAND, Ore. - The University of San Francisco volleyball team was downed by Portland, 1-3, on Saturday afternoon. Although the Dons (3-22, 0-12) remain winless in conference play, a positive did come out of today's match - the young squad recorded their highest attack percentage of the year, including a season-high attack percentage for a single set. It was their first set victory in six matches. They were competitive throughout the match, taking the Pilots to a fourth set, but losing steam to force a fifth.
STATS OF THE GAME
The Dons return home for three consecutive matches before closing out conference play on the road with another final three matches. Santa Clara, Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine are slated for USF. The Broncos will head to the Hilltop next Friday, Nov. 3. First serve is set for 7 p.m. The Dons will have the weekend and better part of th enext week before they host the Lions and the Waves.

- Three Dons finished in double-digit kills.
- Erica Ronda led with 13 kills and nine digs, one shy of her third double-double on the season.
- This was Ronda's first time back in double-digits since Sept. 30 versus Gonzaga (five sets).
- Laura Leap earned a season-high attack percentage of .647 which converted to 12 kills.
- Carly Lowry added 10 kills.
- Starting setter Erin Anthony recorded 41 assists and eight digs.
- The Dons earned their highest attack percentage of the season, .286, amassing 51 kills.
- USF registered a .515 percentage in the second set.
